Overview
The Rail Grinder RCG-L50 is a lithium battery vertical axis turnout grinder developed from the NCM-5 II platform. It upgrades the power source to a 4.7 kW DC brushless motor and 72Ah lithium battery, reducing noise, vibration, and emissions while retaining full multifunctionality.
Designed for turnout maintenance, it efficiently grinds rail heads, repair welds, joint welds, and—even with optional attachments—the rail web. It features a vertical feed stroke of 200 mm, lateral travel stroke of 385 mm, and grinding wheel speed of 3600 r/min.
Weighing 90 kg and operating in temperatures from –40°C to +70°C, the RCG-L50 creates a healthier work environment and enables rapid on/off-track transitions—perfect for metro systems and environmentally regulated areas.
