Overview
SGC-1 Digital Track Gauge is an electronic inspection instrument that employs microcomputer-based control for the accurate measurement of static track geometry parameters—including gauge and superelevation (cross level)—on railway tracks (including switches and crossings). Its accuracy class is available in Class 0, Class 1, and Class 2.
This instrument measures gauge and superelevation (cross level) across the full standard gauge range of 1410-1470 mm, with a check gauge range of 1381-1401 mm and a flange back gap range of 1338-1358 mm. The selected accuracy class (Class 0, Class 1 or Class 2) matches the inspection standard required for routine track maintenance, switch and crossing surveying, and post-construction acceptance checks. Built around microcomputer-based electronics and high-precision sensors, the SGC-1 delivers stable, repeatable readings. Its high-capacity battery supports more than 50 hours of continuous field operation at zero degrees Celsius, and the LCD screen with built-in sunshade keeps the measurement clear even under strong daylight.
