Re-measurement of CP3 railway benchmark network – the section from Wuhan to Yichang

  The CPⅢ absolute coordinate re-measurement on the Wuhan–Yichang section is a benchmark verification of the track control network, conducted during the critical phase of track fine-adjustment. Due to bridge creep, shrinkage, thermal effects, and construction loads during the project, the CPⅢ control points may have undergone displacement, rendering the original survey results insufficient to meet the millimeter-level accuracy required for track adjustment. This re-measurement adopts the resection method, which efficiently obtains station coordinates through distance-and-angle intersection and performs a re-solution of the network. The primary focus is on checking point coordinate consistency and eliminating unstable points. The objective is to restore the absolute benchmark of the CPⅢ network, provide reliable reference data for subsequent fine-adjustment operations, and fundamentally ensure the safety and ride comfort of high-speed train operations at 250 km/h.
